Iran Khodro Strengthens Russian Ties

Iranian carmaker Iran Khodro Diesel has been awarded a US$250mn contract to assemble Gazelle vans for Russia's GAZ. Around 12,000 units will be produced in the first phase of CKD (completely knocked down) kit assembly, although domestic parts are expected to account for 50% of the vehicles within the first year of the contract.
