Fiat-Tata Tie-Up On The Horizon

According to Cristiano Rattazzi, chairman of Fiat Argentina, the Italian carmaker could sign an agreement before the end of the year that would bring its defunct plant in Córdoba back into operation. Rattazzi recently told a group of journalists that Fiat was close to concluding a deal with Indian carmaker Tata Motors, which would result in the Córdoba plant being used to produce a pick-up truck as from 2008.
