Nissan Shifts Production Focus
October 2006 | Project NewsJapan's Nissan Motor will relocate production of two models from Mississippi to Japan in FY2008/09, due to lower volume sales. According to Japanese business daily Nihon Keizai, the two Japanese plants are better equipped to accommodate smaller volumes of vehicles, which should result in production cost savings for the manufacturer.
