Growth Forecast For Greek Market
November 2006 | BMI ViewThe Greek passenger car market has been struggling to maintain the growth set in the Olympic year of 2004, although given that sales for that year were a special case, sales for 2005 were still over 4% higher than 2003. Consequently, BMI's Greece Automotives Report retains an optimistic forecast of growth for 2006. Although we do not expect sales growth of over 2%, sales have already improved from a 4.4% contraction in the year to April, to a y-o-y decline of just 1.4% by September.
