BorgWarner Launches Drive Unit
November 2006 | Product LaunchUS component manufacturer BorgWarner has teamed up with AutoAlliance Thailand, a joint venture between Ford and Mazda, to launch its new part-time all-wheel drive system. The unit, which enables an electric 'shift-on-the-fly' switch to all-wheel drive, will be used in the Ford Ranger and Everest automatic transmission models, built by AutoAlliance Thailand.
