Ford Cuts Australian Workforce
November 2006 | Company Finance AlertFord Australia will reduce its workforce by 10%, as it struggles to come to terms with the slow domestic market. Some 640 jobs will be cut at the company's plants in Victoria through voluntary redundancy, in what Ford calls a reaction to shifting consumer demand.
