Renault Earmarks Investment In Romania

Renault continues to pump money into Romania. The country has proved a strong market for the French manufacturer thanks to its Dacia subsidiary and sales of the low-cost Logan vehicle, which has been a hit not only in Central and Eastern Europe but also in Western states. Pursuing its strategy of exploiting areas with a strong potential for growth, Renault is to invest EUR100mn in the region of Dambovita in order to build a new development centre.
