Japan Backs Philippines Fuel Plan

Philippines Energy Secretary Raphael Lotilla has welcomed the interest of Japanese prime minister Junichuro Koizumi, in the country's alternative fuel drive. Lotilla claims that Koizumi has committed to encouraging Japanese carmakers to develop flex-fuel engines, which would comply with the Philippines biofuels programme.
