Ford Targets Spanish Market With Mondeo

Ford has high hopes for the Spanish market despite forecasts of a contraction for the remainder of the year. The US carmaker's Spanish subsidiary is eyeing sales of 180,000 units for 2006 and is bidding to achieve this figure via the rollout of new vehicles. In line with its Kinetic Design strategy, about which Ford is decidedly upbeat, the carmaker has unveiled a new version of the Mondeo and plans to sell some 30,000 units of the vehicle in Spain during their first year on the
