Moderate Growth Forecast For Latvia

BMI's newly-released Latvia Automotives Report examines the sustained growth in the Latvian car market, which saw automotive sales grow by 42.8% to 19,639 units in 2005, according to statistics published by the Latvian Authorised Automotive Dealers Association (LAADA). The trend continued into the first half of 2006 when car sales rose 56% y-o-y to 11,346 units. BMI expects a firm GDP growth rate to lend support to future expansion in sales.
