CAW Looks To Save St Thomas

Buouyed by the success of rescuing the General Motors plant in Oshawa, the Canadian Auto Workers (CAW) union has put forward a proposal to save Ford's plant in St Thomas, Ontario. According to the Globe and Mail daily, the project would involve parts manufacturer Magna International setting up a new facility on the site of the plant to build small cars for Ford.
