Opel To Produce Combo
August 2006 | Project NewsGM's Spanish subsidiary Opel and its plant in Figueruelas located in the province of Zaragoza (north-east Spain) are becoming increasingly important to their US parent. As from February next year, the Figueruelas plant will commence production of the light commercial vehicle the Combo. As a preliminary step, production will be transferred out of GM's Azambuja plant in Portugal, which will be shut down.
