Slowdown Imminent?
August 2006 | Industry ForecastSales for H105 - at 260,843 units - registered a 14% increase on the same period of 2004, leading the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) to revise its full-year sales forecast again to 520,000 units, compared with its earlier forecast of 500,000 units. Based on growth of 12.6% for sales in the first nine months of the year, which reached 407,184, BMI also revised its sales forecast for 2005 upwards to 526,613 units, equal to growth of 8%.
