VW Subsidiary Inaugurates Hungarian Plant
July 2006 | FDI AlertAutoVision, a subsidiary of German carmaker Volkswagen, has opened a EUR5mn factory in Győr, Hungary, situated near an Audi plant.The firm has been supplying Audi with axles and drives for TT sport cars since December 2005. The new plant will reduce production costs by 15%, according to AutoVision. The plant is relatively small, employing 35 people.
