Fiat is eyeing the launch of a new version of the Cinquencento small car in 2007. The vehicle has reached iconic status in its home market, with some 3.7mn units being sold between 1957 and 1975 when production was ended. Fiat is hoping to tap Italian passion for the Cinquecento and continue the recent run of financial success achieved by Fiat Auto.
