Ford Takes 'Way Forward' To Mexico

US carmaker Ford plans to invest around US$9.2bn in Mexico as part of its 'Way Forward' restructuring plan to improve efficiency. The six-year project would double Ford's Mexican production capacity to 850,000 units per year, while making up for over half of the capacity due to be lost through plant closures in the US.
