Ford Chooses Canada For Hybrid Boost
February 2006 | Project NewsUS carmaker Ford has announced plans to expand its hybrid range with the production of two gasoline-electric crossover models by 2010. The company is investing CAD1bn (US$862mn) in its plant in Oakville, Ontario to accommodate increased production, becoming the first carmaker to produce hybrid vehicles in Canada.
