Mazda Secures Share Of China JV
April 2006 | Company Finance AlertJapanese carmaker Mazda has acquired a 15% stake in Changan Ford Automobile, a joint venture between its US affiliate Ford and China's Changan Automobile. The three companies are already co-operating on establishing production facilities and the acquisition gives Mazda a more tangible contribution to the partnership. As a result of the deal, the name of the three-way joint venture will now be changed to Changan Ford Mazda Automobile Company.
