Autos Majors Take Advantage Of Bulgarian Boom

Autos majors are investing millions of euros in expanding their sales operations in Bulgaria, an EU accession state that witnessed the world's highest car sales growth rate in 2005. Total new car sales in Bulgaria rose 34.2% to 33,434 units last year.Sofia France Auto, Bulgaria's exclusive importer for Peugeot, has announced plans to spend EUR30mn between mid-2006 and end-2008 to establish 11 new showrooms in order to maintain the brand's lead on the market.
