Poland's Spring Growth

Polish new car sales rose 3.3% y-o-y to 19,981 units in April, but were down 7.7% over the previous month, according to figures published by Poland's Automotive Market Research Institute (SAMAR). However, sales were down 8.0% y-o-y in January-April at 78,466, indicating that the Polish car market was still depressed - a situation that has continued since accession to the EU in May
