Volkswagen Group is divided into two brand groups - Audi and Volkswagen - which operate independently in the market. The Audi group includes the Audi, SEAT and Lamborghini brands, while the Volkswagen brand group comprises VW passenger cars, Skoda, Bentley and Bugatti. Both brand groups include car models ranging from compact to luxury. The Group also includes the Volkswagen Truck Division, producing light commercial vehicles, as well as financial services, the Europcar International rental business and other ancillary businesses.The firm acquired Skoda after it was privatised by the government of Czechoslovakia in 1991.
