GM Shows Interest In FSO

US carmaker General Motors has shown an interest in Poland's FSO plant, according to British business daily the Financial Times. Formerly Daewoo FSO, the unit has been under the control of Ukrainian manufacturer AvtoZAZ since 2005. The Polish government had been seeking a buyer for Daewoo-FSO since it was excluded from the General Motors takeover of Daewoo in 2002, following the South Korean firm's bankruptcy.
