Strong Recovery For Commercial Segment
June 2006 | Industry NewsTurkey's commercial vehicle market has fully recovered from the country's economic crisis of 2001. By 2003, sales were back near pre-crisis levels and have continued to climb. In 2005, commercial vehicles sales amounted to 324,589 units, 67.9% higher than in 2000. The light commercial vehicle (LCV) segment was up 77.1%, while the heavy commercial vehicle (HCV) segment was up 42.6% and bus sales were up just 3.9%.
