Azerbaijan Prepares For Iran Khodro Plant
May 2006 | Project NewsA production line producing Iran Khodro's Samand model in Azerbaijan is due to be inaugurated by Iran's President Ahmadinejad and senior Azeri officials on 31 May.The project has cost US$10mn to complete, with investment provided by Azerbaijan and technical assistance provided by Iran Khodro. In the first phase, output will amount to 6,000 units per annum and is set to rise to 18,000 units within three years. The plant's total capacity is 30,000 units per
