Renault Caves In To Iran's Demands
May 2006 | Project NewsThe Iranian government has won its battle to force Renault to accept new conditions for the production of the low-cost Logan model in the country. The French firm had refused to accept Iran's demand that 20% of output should be earmarked for export in a contract that has been radically revised by the new administration of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who came to power in August last year. The new contract is expected to be signed within the next two weeks, according to deputy industry minister Mohsen
