Portuguese Government Fights For GM Plant

The Portuguese government has vowed to create the necessary conditions to retain the General Motors light commercial vehicle plant in Azambuja. The country's Economy Minister Manuel Pinho stated that the government would aim to improve the competitiveness of the facility in order to secure production of new models.
