Vauxhall Hits Production Milestone
April 2006 | Company SpotlightResults for the year to November 2005 show Vauxhall retaining its second place in the passenger-car market. The company sold 296,800 cars over the 11-month period to claim a market share of 13%. This performance included the second and third best-selling models in the country's top ten with the Astra and Corsa, respectively. In the light commercial segment, which has always been a strong area for the company, Vauxhall again holds second place, with a 16.18% market share from sales of 48,639 vehicles, up 7.75% y-o-y.
