South Africa Leads New BMI Ratings

In BMI's newly-compiled Risk/Reward Ratings for the Autos sector in the sub-Saharan African region, South Africa and Nigeria are currently our most favoured countries, with Tanzania and Sudan currently the regional laggards. When compiling our new Ratings table for the African region, we have based our views on trends in per capita income (which has a strong correlation with vehicle ownership), as well as the state of domestic road infrastructure plus levels of government
