Maruti's Diesel Deal With Fiat Reduces Cost Of Reclaiming Market Share

India's leading passenger car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki is looking to address its declining domestic sales by increasing its stock of diesel engines. Japanese parent company Suzuki Motor has entered into an agreement with Italy's Fiat for the supply of 1.3-litre multijet diesel engines, which will enable Maruti Suzuki to increase its sales in the rapidly growing diesel market.
