Urgent Regulatory Change Required To Stop Suppliers' Decline

The automotive parts segment in Venezuela is taking a hit from slackening domestic autos production in the country. According to estimates from the Venezuelan Chamber of Automotive Parts Manufacturers (FAVENPA), the parts segment recorded a 0.8% year-on-year (y-o-y) drop in sales to US$617mn between January and October 2011.
