Credit Growth Poses Threat To Sales In 2012

We expected passenger car sales to end 2011 down by around 2% and results for November and the first 11 months combined are in line with this view. Passenger car sales rose 1.5% y-o-y in November, leaving segment sales for 11M11 down 1.8% y-o-y. On the other hand, light truck sales have rebounded, with sales up 6.7% in November and 4.7% in 11M11.
