Vehicle Sales Reflect Growing Consumer Confidence
March 2011 | Industry Trend AnalysisTotal new vehicle sales in Namibia rose 9.9% year-on-year (y-o-y) in February 2011, and registered the first month-on-month (m-o-m) growth since October 2010. The double-digit growth in passenger car sales in particular supports the forecast of BMI's Africa team for positive private consumption growth in 2011.
