Toyota Adds To Growing Local Truck Hub

Japanese carmaker Toyota Motor is the latest company to invest in domestic assembly in Kenya, with a view to increasing its share of the high-growth truck market. This supports two BMI views - firstly, that commercial vehicles will outperform in the country and secondly, that Kenya is the best-placed Sub-Saharan African market (excluding South Africa) to become a vehicle production
