Parts Makers Begin To Feel FTA Benefits

While BMI already held the view that South Korean parts makers would start winning new business as a result of the disruption caused by the Japanese earthquake and tsunami, the new Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) in place with the EU and US have compounded this view. Much of the talk surrounding the FTAs centred on the benefits for carmakers themselves, but recent contract wins underline the benefits for the supplier segment.
