NAC Fund Latest Attempt To Boost Domestic Autos Industry

After several seemingly unsuccessful attempts by the government to encourage sales of domestically built vehicles, the National Automotive Council (NAC) has taken matters into its own hands with a consumer credit fund to provide car loans. The NGN2.5bn (US$15.7mn) fund will be available to those buying cars from local assembly plants and will provide loans with a 10% interest
