Small Loses From Car Assembly Agreements, But Big Gains From WTO Membership
October 2011 | Industry NewsRussia has finally concluded two separate bilateral agreements with the US and the EU on car assembly, which has long been a sticking point in the country's pursuit of WTO membership. The EU trade commissioner Karel De Gucht has revealed that the agreement could lead to Russia's entry into the WTO by as early as end-2011.
