Inergy Russian JV: A Win-Win Deal

Inergy Automotive Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of France's Plastic Omnium, has entered into a joint venture with Russia-based Detalstroykonstruktsiya in a deal which will make it the largest producer of plastic fuel systems in Russia. The move has all the elements of Plastic Omnium's growth strategy, namely a focus on lightweight parts, growth through acquisitions or joint ventures and an increased presence in emerging markets (EMs).
