Commercial Segment Outperforms, But Car Sales Will Finish The Year Stronger

Namibia's total new vehicle sales rose 10.2% year-on-year (y-o-y) in September, to 1,076 units. This total was led by sales in the extra heavy commercial vehicle segment, which more than doubled. The passenger car segment is also finding its feet again, after the Japanese earthquake restricted shipments to the country.
