Vehicle Production Gathers Momentum With Isuzu Project
October 2011 | Industry NewsSaudi Arabia's National Industrial Clusters Development Program (NICDP), which aims to develop five industries, including automotives, has attracted the attention of Japanese truck maker Isuzu Motors. According to the NICDP's president Azzam Shalabi, Isuzu will begin production of 25,000 trucks per year for export throughout the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and wider Middle East region by end-2012.
