Government Plan Boosts EV Market

France could be spearheading the overall move towards electric vehicle (EV) ownership in Europe. Reports in Le Figaro have revealed that the French government is looking to acquire a massive fleet of EVs from Renault and PSA Peugeot Citroën. In a separate development, the country has rolled out a car-sharing plan in Paris called Autolib, which will see some 3,000 EVs being made available for public use.
