Government Plan Boosts EV Market
October 2011 | Industry NewsFrance could be spearheading the overall move towards electric vehicle (EV) ownership in Europe. Reports in Le Figaro have revealed that the French government is looking to acquire a massive fleet of EVs from Renault and PSA Peugeot Citroën. In a separate development, the country has rolled out a car-sharing plan in Paris called Autolib, which will see some 3,000 EVs being made available for public use.
