Purchase Restrictions Could Hurt Sales Growth
September 2011 | Industry NewsWith the Colombian market primed for yet another year of record autos sales in 2011, the Ministry of Transportation is wary of increased congestion on city roads. The ministry is planning to limit new vehicle sales in the country by forcing consumers to get government approval for autos purchases. While we see little likelihood of the plan being implemented, BMI warns that such a development could put downward pressure on vehicle growth in the country.
