EV Projects Boost Growth Opportunities

BMI expects Bulgaria's automotive market to continue to recover in 2011. We forecast that 21,416 vehicles will be sold in the country in 2011, an increase of 9.94% on the previous year. A total of 10,954 new vehicles were sold in Bulgaria in H111, marking a 21.3% increase from H110, according to Balkan Business News. Passenger car sales were up 19.6% y-o-y in the six-month period, with 10,287 vehicles sold, ahead of BMI forecasts of an 11.2% increase in passenger vehicles in 2011.
