More Green Car Perks Required

South Africa's ABSA Bank has announced a new finance package aimed at encouraging purchases of low-emission vehicles. BMI sees this is a positive move for the auto sector, as we have long argued that there are not enough incentives to support 'green' cars. However, we still believe more will be needed in terms of official government support for the segment to fulfil its potential.
