All Set For Commercial Vehicle Growth

The Chilean Energy Efficiency Agency and the Confederation of Truck Owners have launched the 'Change Your Truck' incentive, aimed at renewing the country's ageing truck fleet. The scheme offers a cash incentive of between CLP5mn to CPL8mn to companies trading in old trucks with new ones. BMI believes the temporary scheme will further boost new truck sales in the country, which are already benefitting from the strong demand in the transport and mining sectors and the country's robust economic activity.
