Sales Won't Return To Pre-Crisis Levels Before 2015
August 2011 | Industry Trend AnalysisBMI's view that there will be a slow and painful recovery in Hungarian new vehicle sales is playing out. Estimates from the European auto manufacturers association show that passenger cars sales in Hungary rose a modest 7.3% year-on-year (y-o-y) in H111, despite five consecutive years of contraction in the market. In contrast, the commercial vehicles segment showed better momentum, with the market shifting over 40% more vehicles in H111 compared with the same period last year.
