Renault Expansion Attracts More Suppliers

Belgian machine tool supplier Haas Automation Europe (HAE) has opened its first North African sales and service facility, in Morocco, encouraged by the investment of major companies in local vehicle production. HAE follows leading tier I suppliers such as Lear Corp and Bridgestone, which announced investment in the country earlier in 2011. The imminent completion of French carmaker Renault's complex in 2012 looks set to more than double the country's current vehicle production capacity.
