Will PureCircle Be A Big Winner From Stevia Growth?

Natural sweetener maker PureCircle expects its sales in the second half of 2011 to be 70% higher than in the previous year at US$40mn. This growth forecast was attributed to the fulfilment of its contracted volumes with a key beverage account and an increase in global customer numbers. PureCircle has been consistently bullish about its own prospects but its share price has fluctuated due to significant volatility in its own revenue and earnings (see chart).
