Renault Well-Placed For Growth As Its Middle East Unit Expands

French carmaker Renault has appointed an official distributor to begin sales of its passenger and light commercial vehicles in Iraq, as part of its strategy to generate 50% of global sales outside of Europe by 2013. Under the supervision of Renault GCC, this will be the first step outside of the Gulf Co-operation Council for the Middle East unit, into what the company calls 'an extremely important market'.
