Ford And Toyota Cutbacks Are Latest Blow To Production
April 2011 | Industry NewsAustralia's beleaguered auto industry has suffered a double blow with the news that two of the three remaining carmakers producing in the country will be cutting back their operations. While Toyota Motor's reduction in output is intended as a temporary measure to address a parts shortage, Ford Motor will be cutting 240 jobs on the back of poor sales and reducing its daily output.
