Swedish commercial vehicle manufacturer Scania has opened a new unit in Iraq, where the company sees potential in replacing an aging fleet. The company's eagerness to expand in the country is matched by Iraq's desire for foreign investment. Sattar Saft al-Ardawi of the Karbala Provincial Council says investment is 'necessary as oil production is improving'.
